Pinpourri is a Chrome Extension that lets you pin notes directly onto web pages. This policy explains what data we collect, how we store it, and your rights. We keep things short and plain.
All your notes and project data are stored entirely in your browser using chrome.storage.local. No data ever leaves your device. We collect nothing.
When you create an account or sign in, we store:
We do not collect passwords in plain text. Authentication uses hashed credentials or third-party OAuth (if enabled).
We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties beyond what is necessary to operate the service (e.g., a payment processor for Pro subscriptions).
Pinpourri requests the following browser permissions:
We do not read the content of pages you visit beyond what is needed to anchor pins to specific elements.
Pro tier data is stored on servers located in the EU/US (depending on provider). Data is transmitted over HTTPS. We take reasonable measures to protect your data, but no service is 100% secure.
Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at [email protected]. Free-tier data is stored only in your browser and is removed if you uninstall the extension or clear browser storage.
Pinpourri is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be noted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of Pinpourri after changes constitutes acceptance.
